Prison Wives & Girlfriends Society (PWGS) is a supportive community for women navigating relationships with incarcerated loved ones.
Through sisterhood, peer encouragement, education, advocacy, and meaningful conversations, PWGS creates opportunities for women to connect with others who understand the unique challenges of loving someone through incarceration.
Our Mission
To empower, educate, encourage, and connect prison wives and girlfriends while promoting emotional wellness, healthy relationships, informed advocacy, and family stability.
Our Community
PWGS brings women together through community discussions, online gatherings, interactive activities, relationship conversations, and shared experiences.
Our community initiatives include opportunities such as the Loyalty Lounge, TikTok Live discussions, sisterhood activities, seasonal giving projects, and community-building events.
Reentry Readiness and Family Support
We also recognize the importance of preparing for reunification and reentry. Our developing educational efforts include helping families think through communication, expectations, relationships, personal growth, and life after incarceration.
